23 Nov 2019Don’t know if you read these Rob but you should check out the content that Elon linked that motortrend put out. On one of the videos they mention how for the longer range version they planned to double stack the batteries like the roadster. So maybe not as much of a battery tech step change but maybe just a significant cost reduction and slight improvement of current cells?
Motortrend also called it the 250 and 450 mile versions. Not sure how early access there viewing was and if they changed some of the options or specs later.
